missioning oakland woman. >> we don't know who it is yet, but sandra coke's family is fo her. crews went to the lagoon valley park area to loong for her. vic lee is there live tonight. >> across the highway of interstate 80 from lagoon valley park. down the road over here is where the body was found. crime scene investigators have been on the scene. we're waiting for police to identify the body. bad news came around 2:30 this afternoon. police announced searchers located the body on the east side of internate state 80 in an unincorps yaited area. >> we can confirm a body has been located and that of a female. we're waiting confirmation on the identity of the body.

>> police began winding down the search, an operation that began last night. police fbi and search and rescue teams searched an area around the fair grounds launching a boat with cadaver dogs by mid day, operations were being moved to lagoon valley park. coke left her home sunday night telling her daughter she'd be back in a half hour, she never returned. police said sandra coke was last seen that weng a paroled sex offender randy alana. alana, a felon was arrested tuesday on unspecified parole violation. friends say she briefly dated him more than 20 years ago and would not say what led them to the north bay them began the search here the long, sad wait
